We offer three types of private lessons. All begin with an initial consultation to discuss your situation and goals. We work at your level. Private lessons are one-hour in length and $125 each.
Skills and Manners Lessons: These cover basic home manners, problems, and fun games and tricks – anything needed to help your dog become a more enjoyable family member.
Behavioral Support: Many dogs become fearful or over-excited in some situations, and they develop problem behaviors. Examples include shyness, aggression, and reactivity to dogs, people, or sounds. If your dog is troubled by fear, anxiety, and stress, we can customize a training program to meet his individual needs.
- Behavior lessons start with virtual sessions. We discuss your dog’s issues and familiarize you with behavior basics, which include how dogs communicate, dog body language, and how to handle difficult situations. The number of virtual lessons depends on your, and your dog’s needs.
- Next, we can to help you build your dog’s skills. We either work virtually or in person. How we work depends on your own skills and your dog’s issues. You can take as many or as few lessons as you need.
- If your dog is seeing a veterinary behaviorist, we can work with him/her to develop a training program with the specific training and behavior modification support your dog requires.
On-Boarding for New Puppies and Older Dogs: We help you plan your home setup, including introductions to the rest of your family, sleeping arrangements, and housebreaking steps. Our focus is on building behaviors you want – and preventing the ones you don’t – from the start.
